Privacy policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
Loadhaus is software for scanning and tracking cases in meat processing plants and cold storage warehouses. This policy explains what information we keep, why, and who else touches it. The short version: we keep what the app needs to run, we don't sell it, and we don't run advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account details. Company name and address, and for each person with a login: name, username, email, and phone if given. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), never as readable text.
- Your business records. Everything you enter or scan: products, cases, weights, pack and use-by dates, lots, pallets, locations, customers, orders, BOLs, ship-to addresses, carriers, and trailer and seal numbers.
- Activity history. Who received, shipped, moved, or changed what, and when. This is part of the product: it's what makes lot trace and recalls work.
- Technical details. Your IP address, used to slow down repeated sign-in attempts and to filter spam on our contact form, and a single cookie that keeps you signed in. On phones and tablets, the app also saves your settings and any scans waiting to be sent while offline.
- Demo requests. When you use the form on our homepage: your name, company, email, phone, and message.
How we use it
- To run the service you signed up for, and to keep each account's data separate from every other account.
- To answer support questions and demo requests.
- To send account emails, such as password reset links and billing notices.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don't sell your information, we don't share it with advertisers, and the app has no advertising or tracking scripts.
Your data belongs to you
The records your company puts into Loadhaus belong to your company. You can export them to spreadsheets at any time. We only look at them when you ask us for help, to keep the service running, or when the law requires it.
In a cold storage account, the warehouse controls the records about the product it stores for its customers, and decides which of those customers get their own logins.
Companies that help us run Loadhaus
- Render hosts the app and its database in the United States.
- Stripe processes card payments. Card numbers go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Resend delivers our emails, such as password resets.
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface on our public web pages, so your browser contacts Google when you view them.
Each of them only gets what it needs to do that job.
How long we keep it
We keep your records while your account is open. If your trial ends or your subscription stops, your records stay available to view and export unless you ask us to delete them. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it, and copies in our backups age out on their normal schedule.
Security
Every connection is encrypted (https). Passwords are hashed. Each account is walled off from every other account, and we test that regularly. Administrators can limit what each login can see and do. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly.
Your choices
You can see, correct, and export your information inside the app. To have something deleted, or with any question about privacy, contact us at the contact form on our homepage.
Children
Loadhaus is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll let account administrators know by email or in the app.
