Every case on the dock, accounted for.

Loadhaus reads the barcode already printed on your boxes. Catch weight, pack date, and lot go straight into inventory, so orders ship right and any lot can be traced in seconds.

A 20-minute video call. Works with the scanners you already have.

Truck in, truck out.

Four scans cover a case's whole life in your building. Your crew already knows the motion.

  1. Receive

Scan cases against the supplier's BOL. Shorts and overages show before the truck pulls away.

  2. Put away

Scan the cooler or freezer spot label, and every case after it lands there.

  3. Ship

Scan against the order. Oldest pack date goes first, and the wrong product asks before it leaves.

  4. Trace

Type a lot and see every case: what's still on hand and where, and which orders got the rest.

Made for random‑weight product.

General inventory apps assume every box weighs the same. Meat doesn't, so Loadhaus starts there.

LoadhausProduct specification
Catch weight
Every case keeps its own weight. Order, product, and lot totals add up to the hundredth of a pound, with kilograms alongside.
Supplier labels
Reads GS1-128 case labels as printed: product code, net weight in pounds or kilos, pack and use-by dates, lot, and serial. When a label leaves the lot out, you type it once for the pallet.
Code dates
Use-by dates come from the label or from each product's shelf life. Product inside seven days and anything expired is flagged, and shipping pulls the oldest first.
Pallets
Build a pallet as you receive, or scan the supplier's pallet label. Move or ship the whole pallet with one scan.
Freezer dead spots
No signal in the back of the freezer? Scans wait on the phone and send themselves when it reconnects, never twice.
Recalls and audits
When a supplier or USDA inspector asks about a lot, one search shows every case: what's still in your building and where, and which customer orders and BOLs got the rest. Print it or export it for a recall, a mock recall, or a customer audit. Every scan is logged with who did it and when.
Bills of lading
When the last case is scanned onto a truck, Loadhaus builds the BOL from the scans: products, lots, case count, net weight, pallets, temperature, and a full case list. Your customer can print it from their own login.

See the real thing.

These are screens from Loadhaus, filled with a sample warehouse. Nothing here is a mockup.

Between a clipboard and an ERP.

Paper is free until a recall. Big warehouse systems do everything, after months of setup. Loadhaus does what a meat dock needs, starting this week.

Store for others? Keep every customer apart.

A cold storage account holds as many customers as you serve. Each one gets its own products, inventory, orders, and lot trace.

  • Switch between customers at the top of the screen, or see them all at once.
  • A case can't be shipped on another customer's order.
  • Give each customer a login to check their own stock and send you orders and BOLs.
  • Bill each customer for storage, handling, and extra charges, worked out from the scans. By the day, on anniversary, or split month, per pallet, case, or cwt.
  • The same product code for two customers stays two separate products.

Your data stays yours.

Inventory and customer lists are sensitive. Here is how Loadhaus handles them.

Encrypted connection

Every page and every scan travels over HTTPS.

Passwords never stored

Only a scrambled hash is kept, so nobody can read your password, including us.

Walled-off accounts

Each company's data is kept separate, and a cold storage customer only sees their own product.

Roles for every login

Dock, office, view-only, and customer logins each see and do only what they should.

Full activity history

Every scan and every change to a case is logged with who did it and when.

Export any time

Download everything to a spreadsheet whenever you like. If you leave, your data leaves with you.

Questions.

What scanner do I need?

Any Android handheld with a built-in scanner, like a Zebra TC22, or any phone or tablet paired with a Bluetooth scanner in keyboard mode. Already have scanners? Use them. Need some? We'll send a Zebra TC22 set up and ready to scan for about $1,100. For long shifts inside a freezer, ask us about freezer-rated handhelds.

Do my suppliers have to change their labels?

No. Loadhaus reads the GS1 case labels most meat suppliers already print. When a label leaves something out, like the lot, you type it once for the pallet and every case after that gets it.

Does it work in the freezer?

Yes. If the signal drops, scans are saved on the phone and sent when it reconnects. Phones themselves don't like deep cold, so for long freezer shifts we'll point you to freezer-rated scanners.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Pay monthly and cancel any time, or pay for the year up front and get two months free. The setup fee is paid once.

What happens when the trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. You can still sign in, look things up, and export everything. Scanning picks up again as soon as you subscribe.

Can I get my data out?

Any time. Inventory, products, orders, lot traces, and the full activity history all export to spreadsheets.

Does it connect to accounting or EDI?

Not directly yet. Storage invoices and every report download as spreadsheets your bookkeeper can enter into QuickBooks or any other system, and orders and BOLs import from a spreadsheet. Tell us what you use and we'll look at it.

How does storage billing work?

You set each customer's rates once: storage per pallet, case, or cwt, by the day, on anniversary, or split month, with separate freezer and cooler rates if you like. Add handling in and out, per-PO minimums, case picking, and a monthly minimum. Your price list covers the rest, like shrink wrap and consolidations, and the dock can log those as they happen. At the end of the month Loadhaus counts what was in your building from the scans and builds the invoice. Check it, adjust any line, then print it or save it as a PDF. It's an add-on for $200 a month.

See it on your product.

Tell us a little about your operation. We'll set up a 20-minute video call and scan a few of your own labels live.

  • Meat processors, packers, and distributors
  • Cold storage warehouses holding product for others
  • A real person replies, usually the same business day

See it scan your own labels.
