Loadhaus / Meat inventory software

Meat inventory software that reads the label already on the box.

Loadhaus scans the barcode your suppliers already print on each case. The net weight, pack date and lot go straight into inventory, so you always know what you have, where it is, and what ships first.

Built for random-weight product

Beef, pork, poultry and other catch weight product does not come in neat units. Each case has its own weight. Most general inventory systems treat that as an afterthought and make you key it in.

Loadhaus reads the weight from the case label. A GS1-128 label carries the product code (GTIN), the net weight, the pack date and the lot in one barcode. One scan records all of it. Inventory shows cases and pounds side by side, by product and by lot.

Receive against the supplier's BOL

  • Scan cases as the truck is unloaded. Each case gets its own number and a record of who received it and when.
  • If the BOL is entered or imported from a spreadsheet, the screen shows progress, such as 15 of 20 cases, so shorts and overages show before the truck leaves.
  • If a label leaves something out, like the lot, type it once for the pallet and every case after it gets it.
  • A box that is scanned twice is stopped, even if the phone has no signal.

Your suppliers do not need to change their labels.

Put away and move

Cooler and freezer areas come ready. Add spots like docks and racks. Scan the spot label and every case scanned after it lands there. Move a case later by scanning it and its new location, so inventory always knows where product is.

Ship against orders, oldest first

Enter the orders you expect to ship, or let customers enter their own. On the ship screen, type the order number and watch it fill as you scan. The oldest pack date goes first. If a case is the wrong product for the order, Loadhaus asks before it leaves. When the order is complete, finish it in one tap and print the bill of lading.

Works in the cooler and the freezer

Loadhaus runs on any Android handheld with a built-in scanner, like a Zebra TC22, or on a phone or tablet paired with a Bluetooth scanner. If the signal drops, scans are saved on the device and sent when it reconnects. Phones do not like deep cold, so for long freezer shifts use a freezer-rated scanner.

Who it is for

Meat processors, packers, distributors, and cold storage warehouses that hold product for others. If you have outgrown a clipboard and a spreadsheet but a full ERP is more than you need, this is built for that gap.

Questions

Does Loadhaus handle catch weight?

Yes. It reads the net weight from the GS1 case label, so each case keeps its own weight and inventory shows both cases and pounds.

Do my suppliers need to change their labels?

No. Loadhaus reads the GS1 labels most meat suppliers already print. When a label leaves something out, like the lot, you type it once for the pallet.

What scanners work with it?

Any Android handheld with a built-in scanner, like a Zebra TC22, or any phone or tablet paired with a Bluetooth scanner in keyboard mode.

Can it ship oldest pack date first?

Yes. When you ship against an order, the oldest pack date goes first, and a wrong product asks before it leaves.

Can I export my inventory?

Yes. Inventory, products, orders, lot traces and the full activity history export to spreadsheets at any time.
